The Toshiba TLP5222 Gate Driver Optocoupler is a highly integrated and versatile 2.5A output current gate driver in a long creepage and clearance SO16L package. The TLP5222 includes features such as desaturation detection, isolated fault status feedback, soft gate shutdown, active Miller clamp, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and automatic FAULT status reset.
The Toshiba TLP5222 gate driver optocoupler integrates two infrared light emitting diodes (LEDs) and two high gain and high speed photodetector ICs. The device enables high-current, high-speed output control and fault status feedback with electrical isolation between the primary and secondary sides.
