The IC-NXS0506UP supplied by Nexperia claims to be the smallest SD card level converter in the world. The SD 3.0 compliant bi-directional dual voltage level converter offers only 1.45mm x 1.45mm x 0.45mm, 0.35mm spacing and 20 bump devices 40% smaller than in the past. Operates at a clock rate of up to 208MHz and a data rate of up to 104Mbps. Provides integrated automatic directional control, EMI filter and IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection.

The device provides a direct connection to the latest host CPU/SOC ASIC and is simple to use as the DATA and CMD channels can be switched with no functional impact. Its new SD card level converter also offers integrated pull-up and pull-down resistors to reduce BOM costs.
