Toshiba Electronics Europe Ltd. offers 21 new microcontrollers in the M3H Group, as new products in the advanced class of the TXZ+ series, manufactured using a 40nm process. These microcontrollers also offer a variety of interface and motor control options, such as encoders and programmable motor drivers. As such, these devices are ideal for a variety of applications, including motors, home appliances, and industrial equipment. The team includes an ARM Cortex-M3 core running at up to 120MHz, integrating 512kB (max) code flash, 32kB data flash with 100k write cycles and 64kB RAM.

Digital LCD driver to reduce the number of components used for display functions, aa contrast adjustment, and ensure flexible board layout. In addition, in order to cope with the diversity of consumer and industrial equipment, the new group products have enhanced communication functions integrated as UART, TSPI, I2C and dual-unit DMAC.

They provide an ideal solution for controlling AC motors and brushless DC motors with on-chip A-PMD circuits that can work synchronously with 12-bit analog/digital converters. At the same time these devices support a variety of high-speed, high-precision 12-bit ADC sensing applications, allowing individual sample and hold times to be set for each 12 to 21 ADC input channels.

The highly integrated device also includes a dual-channel 8-bit DAC and up to 135 dedicated I/O ports. Other peripherals include RMC and CRC calculation circuits. The self-diagnosis function included in ROM, RAM, ADC, Clock and other devices helps customers achieve IEC60730 Class B functional safety certification. The new microcontrollers operate from 2.7V to 5.5V DC and are packaged in high-density 64- to 144-pin LQFP packages.
