Amphenol RF has expanded its portfolio of high-performance SMPMs, further increasing bullet adapter lengths for PCB spacing options. This miniature product family provides a versatile connectivity solution for board-to-board and cable-to-board designs, delivering reliable electrical performance up to 40GHz. This new bullet adapter offers a minimum PCB spacing of 9.75mm. It is excellent for IoT, defense and test and measurement applications.
The adapter is machined with gold-plated beryllium copper for high frequency electrical performance. When used with SMPM PCB connectors, this three-piece design is ideal for blind plug situations. Available in right-angle and right-angle configurations, the cable solution is optimized to meet the frequency limits of high-frequency cables, as well as PCB options with surface-mount, through-hole leg or edge-mount terminations.
This family of products is suitable for multi-precision and miniaturized designs including antennas, handheld radios, defense communication systems and instrumentation and measurement equipment.
