The PTN3222CUK and PTN3222GM of NXP are single port eUSB2 to USB2 re drive ics, which are used to perform the conversion between eUSB2 and USB2 signaling schemes. PTN3222 supports host relay, device relay and dual role relay functions.
Functional diagram
These two devices provide a target I2C register interface to initialize the required functions and features according to the needs of platform applications. The I2C target address can be selected using the Quaternary input pin (select one of the four addresses). RST_ The N pin is used to reset the IC, and no power cycle is required.
PTN3222 is powered by two power supplies (VDD3V3 and VDD1V8) and has two packaging forms: small and thin WLCSP12 package (1.55 mm × 1.18 mm × 0.455 mm body, 0.35 mm spacing) and QFN12 package (1.75 mm × 2.2 mm, 0.4 mm spacing).
