TDK Corporation offers three new B8272* series of compact EPCOS SMT common mode choke coils that can withstand voltages up to 48VAC (50/60Hz) and 80VDC and continuous currents between 1.8A and 19A at an ambient temperature of 40C . The new series covers a range of inductance values between 0.59mH and 5.6mH. And especially suitable for low pressure applications.
Of particular note is the compact size of the new EMC components. Depending on the type, the required surface area is only between 12.7mm x 12.7mm to 30.99mm x 25.4mm and the height is 5.46mm to 12.7mm.the design and materials of rohs-compatible EMC components meet the UL 94 V-0 standard, and have high leakage inductance up to 1.2% of the nominal inductance, which reliably suppresses common mode interference.
Fields of application for the new common mode chokes include DC-DC converters or low voltage applications.
