This voltage-controlled device is very efficient, with low RDS(ON) of only 400mOhm at VGS = 0V, and low inherent capacitance, making it excellent for current protection circuits that do not require active control or common code operation. And the device is an ultrafast switching, temperature independent JFET with ultralow on-resistance (RDS) and gate charge (QG), as well as low conduction and switching losses.
