TDK provides screw terminal EPCOS aluminum electrolytic capacitors B43706*, B43726* series. The new components have a capacitance range of 820µF to 15,000 µF and a rated voltage of 400VDC to 500VDC.
A notable feature is the high current rating capability of up to 56.1a AC (100Hz, 85C). Under standard operating conditions (e.g., 300Hz, 60C, 2m/s), even currents up to 100A can be achieved. These values represent an approximately 25% increase in current capacity at rated conditions compared to the earlier series.
The company's online AlCap tool enables accurate lifetime calculations. As with other EPCOS screw terminal families, a variety of options are available, such as heat sink mounts or special terminals, for reverse polarity protection. These rugged capacitors have a service life of 12,000 hours at 85℃.
