Euroquartz has released a new series of EG_JF series for CMOS, LVPECL, LVDS and CML differential outputs with frequencies from 15MHz to 2100MHz, and HCSL differential outputs from 15MHz to 700MHz. A major advantage of these components is that they are manufactured in the company's clean room facility and are not subject to ITAR restrictions. High frequency output with ultra-low phase jitter performance for new UK-made surface mount voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs).
This new series oscillator is suitable for a variety of applications where ultra-low phase jitter is the main condition. Typical RMS phase jitter performance ranges from 151fs (644.530MHz) to 163fs (2000MHz).
The assembly is supplied in a standard-format eight-pad 7mm x 5mm SMD ceramic package hermetically sealed with a metal lid. Standard temperature stability specification options available are ±25, ±50 and ±100ppm over commercial (-10C to +70C) and industrial (-40C to +85C) temperature ranges, with more stringent options available upon request. And the supply voltage is 1.8V±5% (except LVPECL type), 2.5V±10% and 3.5V±10% (all types), current consumption varies from 70mA to 120mA depending on frequency and logic type.
Further specifications include a maximum rise/fall time of 5ns for CMOS types, a maximum of 0.4ns for all other types (20% to 80% of waveforms), a duty cycle of 50%±5% for all types (except 1.8V CMOS±10%) and an output enable/disable function as standard. The maximum value was ±3ppm in the first year and ±2ppm after aging. Welding temperature 260C, maximum 10 seconds, two times.
The new series vcxo is ideal for flat panel displays for consumer TVs such as Serial ATA and FireWire, SONET, xDSL, SDH, set-top boxes and Ethernet cards. Video streaming system, high-speed serial communication link via external cable (e.g. LDI)
