Murata
Murata now offers a new LoRa-based module, measuring only 10mm x 8mm x 1.6mm, which is said to be the smallest module in the world. Ideal for a variety of high volume applications that require small size, extended battery life, long range, safety and competitive price.
The Type 1SJ LoRa module is based on the second-generation Semtech SX1262 RFIC, and also provides an open STM32L0 MCU from STMicroelectronics, as well as RF switches, 192kB of flash memory, and 20kB of RAM. This comprehensive memory setting ensures that sufficient resources are available for the application layer. It also contains a TXCO and multiple communication interfaces in a very small module, including UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, USB and various GPIOs.
This module is designed for global deployment and supports the ISM band from 868MHz to 916MHz, including the ISM band used in Europe, the United States, India, China and the Pacific Rim.
Pedro Pachuca, director of wireless products, said: "Semtech's LoRa technology has remote, flexible functions and is the preferred platform for IoT applications." "Murata's new LoRa-based module will help include asset tracking in smart buildings and utilities Develop and expand its unique IoT solutions in a variety of industries. "
The new LoRa-based 1SJ-type module will help designers develop solutions that meet the most demanding requirements, especially in the areas of asset tracking, smart cities, smart buildings, utilities, agriculture, industry and other IoT applications.
