Microchip BM77 is a SIG-certified dual-mode Bluetooth 4.0 module. It provides developers with a complete turnkey solution and is equipped with all the necessary hardware and on-board complete software stack to support Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low-Energy operation.
The BM77 can operate as a Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy UART alternative. Anything presented to the UART interface will be transmitted via Bluetooth. Windows-based easy-to-use configuration tools allow developers to customize module parameters based on specific design performance and power budget needs. The company said that the compact BM77 is a 22mm x 12mm x 1.9mm surface mount package.
