The LT1963A series is a low drop regulator optimized for fast transient response. The device is capable of delivering 1.5A output current and 340mV voltage reduction. The working static current is 1mA and drops to < when the machine is shut down. 1µA. Good static current control; It does not rise on exit as many other regulators do.

In addition to fast transient response, LT1963A regulators have very low output noise, making them ideal for sensitive RF power applications. The output voltage ranges from 1.21V to 20V. The LT1963A voltage regulator has output capacitance as low as 10 μF. The internal protection circuit includes battery reverse protection, current limiting, heat limiting and reverse current protection.

These devices are available with fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and adjustable reference voltages of 1.21V. The LT1963A regulator is available in 5-pin TO-220, DD, 3-pin SOT-223, 8-pin SO, and 16-pin TSSOP packages.
