Pulse is expanding its EFD15 portfolio with the PGT646xNL family. The company offers two transmitters that differ in particular in dielectric strength and input voltage range. The PGT6465NL provides high input voltage and uses the full isolation capability of an extended leakage current platform with an isolation specification of 4,000Vrms. While the PGT6466NL meets the low voltage input requirements, the application is isolated at 3000 vdc.
This family of products, currently offered by Rutronik, uses a state-of-the-art 5+5-pin SMT platform design. Offers a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and can be used with flyback topologies. Power range up to 12.5W. The innovative coil design extends the creepage distance between pin and core to at least 5.1mm. At the same time, the component maintains its dimensions of 22mm x 16.5mm x 11mm and does not require more space. The wire selection and design provide high performance applications for automated wire winding, such as industrial and automotive environments, and good reliability for data communications.
