The Kernel family of IMUs is a fully integrated inertial solution incorporating the latest in MEMS sensor technology. This seamless integration allows Inertial Labs to deliver best-in-class performance inertial systems while maintaining a high value price level. With its compact design and low power consumption, the Kernel series of IMUs can be easily integrated into a variety of high-end systems while occupying very little space and power consumption.
Featuring continuous built-in test (BIT), configurable communication protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection, and flexible input power requirements, the new Kernel family of IMUs can be used in a variety of environments and integrated system applications. The new Kernel family of IMUs are fully tested to operate under widely varying temperatures, high vibration and shock.
The Kernel family of IMUs are designed for air, sea and land environments and can be integrated for motion reference units (MRUs), attitude and heading reference systems (AHRS), and GPS-aided inertial navigation systems (INS).
As a result, the Kernel family of IMUs are ideal for a variety of applications such as autonomous vehicles, antenna and line-of-sight stabilization systems, and buoy or vessel motion monitoring.
"The new Kernel family of IMUs represents an innovative approach from Inertial Labs," said Jamie Marraccini, president and CEO of Inertial Labs. "We are committed to delivering high performance to our customers through innovative IMUs that help them more flexibly integrate into a variety of systems and application."
