Traco Power announces their new TRV 2M series 2W DC-DC in a compact SIP-9 package for 5000VAC reinforced isolation for medical and industrial applications. There are 21 models in this series, offering 1.5:1 input ranges of 4.5~7, 9.6~14.4, 12~18, 19.2~28.8VDC, and output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, ±5, ±12, and ±15 V.
This series was created to protect any connection interface or applied part that complies with 2xMOPP patients. These converters are also an excellent solution for medical isolation systems and short circuit protection for many applications.
All models are safe to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd Edition 2xMOPP and IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, backed by Traco Power's five-year warranty. These isolated and regulated DC-DC converters provide high-efficiency operation up to 84%, with no derating at full load over the convection cooled temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Further features include 5000VAC isolation, continuous short circuit protection, and reliability calculated to be >10 million hours (per MIL-HDBK-217F grounded benign).
