RT8293A is a high efficiency monolithic synchronous step-down DC/DC converter that delivers up to 3A output current from 4.5V to 23V input power supply. Packaged in SOP-8 (Exposed Pad). The RT8293A's current mode architecture and external compensation allow optimization of transient responses over a wide range of load and output capacitors.
Typical Application Circuit
Weekly term flow provides protection against short-circuited output and soft starting eliminates input current surges during startup. The RT8293A also provides output voltage protection and thermal shutdown protection. Low current (< 3μA) Off mode provides output disconnect, making the battery powered system easy power management.
