Extensive webinar on bonding techniques

Technology Cover
Data di Pubblicazione: 2021-12-31, Delta Electronics

DELO will host six webinars in the first half of 2022. Multiple aspects of the bonding process will be studied, from the fundamentals of bonding techniques to dispensing options and photocuring techniques.

For multi-material joints, bonding becomes critical. Due to their multifunctional properties, adhesives are ideal for industrial series production, especially considering the growing trend of miniaturization. This often requires the development of complex, personalized solutions for a variety of applications. Because knowledge of the topic is dealt with fairly briefly in technical research, but is essential in practice, DELO Academy experts provide a basic understanding of the topic in regular webinars.

These webinars are called TECH TALKS -- a combination of impulsive lectures and subsequent conversations with participants to tackle more detailed questions. They cover both intellectual and more specific aspects, such as accelerated dispensing processes or metal surface pretreatment.

The main topics for the first half of this year are: only webinars in English are listed: Fundamentals of Glue Technology (03:00 April 12); Dispensing 100 times faster: adhesive screen and stencil printing (20 January, 11am CET); Six engineering tips to improve the UV curing process (1 February 09:00 am CET, 12 May 09:00 AM CET); Dispensing technology - fast and accurate application (05:00 CET, 10 February); Best pretreatment of metals: How to improve binding strength with lasers (17 February, 11:00 AM CET); Bonding connections in Construction: Guidelines for the design of connections using adhesives (11:00 am CET, 1 March); Surface pretreatment (09:00 AM, Apr. 7); New adhesives for motors: Bond strength over 20 MPa at +180C(03:00 CET, 9 June).
