Hammond Electronics' 1551 miniature plastic housing home includes 49 different sizes; In this latest extension, a further 10 versions have been released. In addition to size and configuration options, select colors, flange covers, key rings and USB C versions are also available. The 1551V ventilation sensor housing version now adds 45, 60, and 80mm diameter circular versions that offer plain or ventilation covers. The series has also been added with 80mm x 80mm, 60mm x 60mm, 40mm x 40mm and 80mm x 40mm square and rectangular enclosures.
A key feature is the snap closure, which allows the PCB to be repeatedly opened and closed without the use of tools and maximizes the internal space of the PCB by removing the screw fixation to secure the cover to the base. All options are available in black, gray and white UL94-HB ABS as standard. All bases offer 4mm high PCB mounts, wall mounting slots, and a 15mm cable Knockout. The interior Spaces available for PCB mounting are 74mm × 74mm, 54mm × 54mm, 34mm × 34mm and 74mm × 34mm in rectangular units and 39mm, 54mm and 73.5mm in circular units.
All dimensions are 20mm high, providing enough space for onboard RJ45, USB and other standard communication interfaces.
