Distec GmbH launches the new Tianma TFT display TM116VDSP01-00. SFT technology ensures a wide, symmetrical view. This makes the display ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, ensuring excellent readability and color fidelity in almost all cases.
Distec's product manager Leonhard Spiegl explains: "As a true all-rounder with a screen diagonal of 11.6 inches, the display from Chinese manufacturer Tianma is suitable for a wide range of industrial and digital signage applications.""THE TM116VDSP01-00 offers high resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels and brightness at 1600 CD /m², as well as a wide operating temperature range from -20℃ to +80℃."
For intuitive operation display, the screen offers a PCAP multi-touch screen in modern design with up to 10 contacts. In the space-saving and compact version of the scalable chip, the touchscreen comes with an HDI compatible USB controller. For modern operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or Android, you do not need to install drivers. This allows for fast and easy debugging.
The display provides optional protective glass to resist adverse external influences in public places or other challenging areas. The company applied protective glass to the display using its own vacuum optical bonding process, with no air in between. The parts come together to form a stable and solid unit. In addition, OPTα -gel used in this process reduces light refraction on individual surfaces. This optimizes readability in bright environments without increasing power consumption. Vacuum Bond also promotes a stable combination of display, touch screen and protective glass.
The LVDS interface control display provides an internal Prisma series adaptive TFT controller. A complete ready-to-use kit solution includes other components such as LED backlight converters and connecting cables.
