Diodes' highly integrated PAM8009 series of 3W Class D audio power amplifiers are used to drive bridged (BTL) stereo speakers.
The device includes a stereo single-ended (SE) headphone amplifier. The PAM8009 is packaged in two power-saving packages and provides excellent audio performance and numerous features to provide complete system flexibility. Advanced DC volume control minimizes the required external components and allows precise volume control in 64-step steps from + 20dB to -60dB. Provides silent and standby modes to reduce noise or minimize power consumption.
Applications include LCD monitors, multifunction computers / projects, portable speakers, portable DVD players and game consoles.
