Analog Equipment Inc. The EVAL-CN0552-PMDZ Evaluation Board (EVAL-CN0552-PMDZ Evaluation Board) is a demonstration and development platform for the AD7746 capacitor digital converter (CDC). The plate includes a second-order (σ - δ or charge balance) modulator and a third-order digital filter. It functions as a capacitor input for the CDC, as well as a voltage input or temperature sensor voltage for the classic ADC.
The device provides two capacitive inputs that can be configured as single-ended or differential. In addition to the converter, the board combines a multiplexer, an excitation source and CAP DAC for capacitor input, a temperature sensor, a voltage reference for voltage and temperature input, a complete clock generator, control and calibration logic, and an I2C - compatible serial interface.
It has an I2C Pmod connector designed for use with the EVAL-AdicUP3029 development board (not included). The evaluation committee integrated the pre-installed AD7746 CDC in the 16-lead TSSOP package.
