NXP Semiconductors has released the WLAN7207H 2.4ghz FEIC, which provides Wi-Fi 6 connectivity for Glory's flagship Magic V smartphone. The WLAN7207x single FEM family provides routing and PCB design flexibility to optimize rf performance for smartphones.a single FEM family gives designers additional freedom in routing and placement on the PCB, enabling RF optimization to support higher Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth performance.
Doeco Terpstra, Vice President and General Manager, Smart Antenna Solutions, NXP Think Tank, said: "As consumers continue to rely on smartphones for more and more data-driven benefits, Wi-Fi-6 addresses the need for faster transmission on more devices. Growing data demands.” “Our FEIC solutions enable the Wi-Fi 6 performance benefits consumers want, while providing the design flexibility OEMs need.”
"As smartphones become more feature-rich, the form factor has become a differentiating feature for consumers," said Honor CEO George Zhao. "NXP's FEM solution allows us to overcome the growing complexity and challenges of flagship mobile phone design, while still delivering longer range and improved Wi-Fi 6 signal quality."
