Mouser currently uses TE Connectivity's EP-SMA 27GHz connectors, adapters, and cable assemblies. The EP-SMA 27GHz product portfolio provides engineers with higher bandwidth, power and performance and is ideal for 5G, automated test equipment, aerospace and defense, wireless equipment and radar.
The combination provides low insertion losses, as well as superior voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) for adapters at 1.15(Max) and cable assemblies at 1.20. The product's components have the same footprint as the SM-6ghz, 12GHz, and 18GHz solutions, which means that designers can often avoid changing the current layout in order to increase the frequency to the SMA performance of 27GHz signals or higher.
The product's strong, high-quality materials allow up to 500 insertion cycles. In addition, using these connectors in upgrades can save up to 50% on current applications using 2.92mm (40GHz) or 3.5mm (33GHz) products at 27GHz or lower frequencies.
