The LT5516 is an 800MHz to 1.5GHz direct conversion orthogonal demodulator optimized for high linearity receiver applications. It is suitable for communication receivers where RF or IF signals are directly converted into I and Q baseband signals with bandwidths up to 260MHz. The LT5516 integrates balanced I and Q mixers, LO buffering amplifiers, and a precision high frequency orthogonal generator.

In RF receivers, the LT5516's high linearity provides excellent spurless dynamic range, even with fixed-gain front-end amplification. This direct conversion receiver can eliminate the processing of intermediate frequency (IF) signal and the corresponding requirements of image filtering and if filtering.
